This Thursday June 18th at Everything Wine, there’s a very special (free!) ’sipping & signing’ event with the Barossa’s own John Glaetzer. Drop by for a spash of wine and have the guy sign your bottle of his Gipsie Jack or John’s Blend (or both!). It runs from 4:00 - 7:00, I’d get there early.
Don’t know John?
Really?
A few things:
~ Senior Red Wine Maker at Wolf Blass since 1974
~ An official “Baron Of The Barossa” alongside Peter Lehmann, Stephen Henschke, etc
~ Winner of four Jimmy Watson Trophies
~ Australia’s most-decorated winemaker
~ His side projects, John’s Blend & Gipsie Jack are no slouches either…
For a little more info, and a damn fun story about the guy, check this out…
This is a fantastic opportunity to meet a living legend.
Here’s a SeaBus schedule.
Go.

Thanks for the tip!
First time to EW and very impressed. Almost like a mini Dan Murphies (wine store in Oz)
Nice to meet Glaetzer too.
Personal favs… Gipsies Petit Verdot and Johns Blend Margeretes Shiraz.

Hey Aaron,
I went too, and really enjoyed it. I should have my tasting notes up later today.
