I love ReadyMade Magazine, and may as well get a subscription since I believe I’ve bought every single issue from the newsstand.  It’s great for people who aren’t wealthy, but are city-dwellers and appreciate good design, recycling and DIY projects.  They also throw in some music reviews, food stories, event happenings and articles about people with cool jobs.  I rarely do any of the projects they write about, but I do find inspiration from them which occasionally springs me into action.

Issue 11 provided this awesome idea for wine storage that I’d forgotten about.

Have an old boxspring you’re about to toss out?

Check out this fun, easy way of creating a unique wine rack that won’t cost you an arm and a leg!

Now if I only had 15-foot ceilings…

That is a neat idea, but not if you want to store wine for the long term. Imagine how much heat there must be up there. My apartment roasts in the summer; my wine is on the floor.
