I’ve been buckling down and studying all things spirits related for the WSET diploma’s section 4. Lets just say there’s a reason this isn’t a Tequila and Mezcal site (plus AgaveAndLime.com is already taken). And why does it have to be so sunny outside? If there’s one spirit I love, it’s bourbon. These guys recently opened a distillery in New York’s Hudson River Valley and bottle a range of different whiskey styles. I’ve seen these sexy bottles around San Francisco, but have yet to give one of the whiskeys a shot. I’d better get tasting for the exam.

A friend brought me back from Kentucky a small batch bourbon - Noah’s Mill. Wow! Buy this if you ever go to the Derby.

Cheers Travis… I recognize Noah’s Mill from seeing it around town, but I’ve yet to try it. I’m not sure I’ll make it to the Derby anytime soon unfortunately, but I’ll find some to sip sometime here.
Thanks Ryan!
