It’s been many years since I went through the typical young-adult male phase/cliché of being fascinated with the Beat Generation, voraciously devouring every book, poem and letter I could find penned by Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac, William S. Burroughs and the rest. I do, however, still perk up and take note when a new glimpse into their world appears on the horizon, which was the case when I happened upon Fast Company‘s post about Brooklyn photographer Peter Ross’ recent access to Burroughs’ “Bunker” in New York, left largely untouched since his death in 1997. Ross meticulously shot some of the more notable paraphernalia from pistols to books to hats, which are currently on view at Condé Nast until Monday, and on the internet forever right over here…
