It’s been many years since I went through the typical young-adult male phase/cliché of being fascinated with the Beat Generation, voraciously devouring every book, poem and letter I could find penned by Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac, William S. Burroughs and the rest. I do, however, still perk up and take note when a new glimpse into their world appears on the horizon, which was the case when I happened upon Fast Company‘s post about Brooklyn photographer Peter Ross’ recent access to Burroughs’ “Bunker” in New York, left largely untouched since his death in 1997.
