I snagged the second album from Sleigh Bells, ‘Reign of Terror’, through iTunes last week. While I don’t think it’s the kind of music that you just throw on the background anytime and sail through with enjoyment, a number of the tracks have been growing on me, including the one above. A week before the album came out, Melena Ryzik wrote an awesome article in the NY Times providing a historic time-line on the duo that is Sleigh Bells. The meeting happened one day while Derek Miller was serving tables and Alexis Krauss came into the restaurant with her mom and the two started chatting music. Worth a read.
