NPR’s always-excellent All Songs Considered podcast crosses over to the second half of the year by having a round-table discussion of 2012′s best music to date. I love listening to this show while doing dishes or other in-house puttering, and am glad that I’ve now been introduced to Kishi Bashi, Hurray For The Riff Raff and more. While you can scroll down their homepage to cherry-pick the songs they go through, I do enjoy the casual, humorous banter and background on the enthusiasm for each artist.

That was the first time I heard them and yes I did enjoy the sample I heard but I am hesitant to delve further because of her so many other crappy picks. i am scarred by her picks man sometimes I will be lying on the couch listening to all songs and one of her Beyonce picks comes on it is like a wet willy disturbing my peace… I will stop here otherwise I will keyboard rage.
